Becca has been a part of the CrossFit community for over 8 years. Her belief in the CrossFit methodology led her to opening SCG Fitness and CrossFit SCG. She’s experienced first hand the mental and physical benefits of CrossFit and also understands that CrossFit can be intimidating to some. “My goal with SCG was to meet people where they are at. I’ve seen that folks need more support in building and maintaining a healthy lifestyle; that there’s a need for connection through this process and that there’s power in numbers.”
Our team sees the positive impact CrossFit has on people of all ages and abilities. The physical and mental benefits of CrossFit training enable participants to apply their training in the gym to their everyday lives. The functional movement patterns allow them to do things like take an impromptu hike, take part in a local run, play sports longer, and even play with their kids!
“I also saw a void in the industry for those who enjoy taking classes and also want to work on extra skills outside of class time. I wanted to make sure all of our members could come in anytime during business hours and have the available space and equipment to work on their “extras”.”
Our mission is to Support you, Connect you with others and provide a space for personal Growth. You will be surrounded by people of all ages and body types, doctors, students, stay-at-home parents, and people with different ability levels, strengths and weaknesses. We design our class programming with multiple levels of modifications to ensure everyone has an option that will work for them.
